John Sirois is an artist who paints in the Contemporary American style. As demonstrated in this collection of work, he has a love of color, texture and paint.
Over the years subject matter has become less important than showing the viewer the energy that exists around a given location or still life, showing color and shapes that perhaps we miss when we simply pass by a motif.
John has studied with various artists including, Sidney Willis, Don Stone, Lois Griffel, and the late Charles Sovek. His work has hung in the Salmagundi Club and the National Arts club in New York City as well as the Currier Gallery of Art in Manchester, the American Artists Professional League and the Audubon Artists Society.
We hope you enjoy his works displayed here. Please feel free to drop by and see John in his studio at Union Mill in Peterborough, NH. You can sign up for our email list to the right, or contact us with feedback or questions by going here.
